Hear the wind in the woods

Here, you can enjoy some peace and quiet. Arrive, switch off and take a deep breath. We are located about 400 metres from the mountain hamlet of Roveda, which has a population of just 14. The forest track leading to the cottage ends 200 metres beyond it at a turning point.

A secluded spot with views of the summit

Our cottage stands alone on the southern slope, which is sun drenched all year around. Built on rock, it towers over the valley and the mountain meadows below; the mountain stream Rio Rigolor murmurs unobtrusively in the valley floor.

Fenced in & enclosed

From the 2026 mountain season onwards, you will find our Bergchalet fully fenced and enclosed. This is beneficial for privacy, the view, children and dogs, even though the little access road has always been and remains very quiet.

The majestic Dolomites

All around our cottage there is a view of the mountains in the west, which are up almost 3500 meters high, including the bizarre Brenta Dolomites (UNESCO World Heritage Site). To the south and east you look over the unspoiled mountains of Lagorai with their coherent mountain forests.

Easily accessible

Our cottage is conveniently located in the heart of Trentino. Many excursions and hiking destinations can be reached quickly. You can reach our mountain lodge on well developed roads in half an hour form Trento- Nord motorway exit.

Care and attention to detail

When designing the interior of our cottage, we made sure to do justice to the local furnishing style. Tasteful, comfortable and functional as well as not fancy and practical. We consider authenticity to be the most sustainable.

Past meets present

Once upon a time, the living quarters could only be accessed via the traditional wooden balconies. Glass was expensive, the winters were harsh and cold, and living conditions were difficult. Today, the architecture of this nearly 200-year-old house captivates visitors with its original and unique charm.

The joy of independence

Our mountain lodge is appreciated by many guests as a retreat. Nevertheless, for example, the lake of Caldonazzo and the lake of Levico which invite you to take a refreshing dip in the summer, can be reached quickly.

Off the beaten track

Many hikes start right from our front door. The nearby Rio Rigolor mountain stream invites your children to play or simply enjoy a relaxing day at our cottage. Sun, clouds and wind offer unique facets every day.

Evening stillness

Spend unforgettable hours by the crackling wood stove in the cottage kitchen our with a good glass of red wine in front of our lodge. Enjoy fantastic sunsets and starry skies, sheet lightning on the horizon, the pine crickets or fireflies in June.

Eat, drink and sleep well

Around our mountain lodge you will find many managed alpine pastures, rustic inns, agriturism and taverns that offer tasty Trentino and Italian dishes as well as excellent local wines, spumanti and grappa varieties. Our pine wood bed ensures a good night's sleep.
