Definition of Bergchalet

The term ‘Bergchalet’ is a combination of “mountain in German Berg” and ‘chalet’, which gives a more specific definition for the location in the mountains and the type of chalet. The term “chalet” in itself refers to a dwelling, usually made of wood and /or stone, with a distinctive sloping roof that is typical of the respective mountain region.
